Zozo Is Released

"Uhh, what time is it?"
"It's 3:30 am." Anna's six year old sister said as she is tugging on Anna.
"Go back to bed Savannah."
"but I heard footstep downstairs."
 "Fine!"
Anna did NOT want to go down stairs, for its to dark and cold down there. As they walked down the steps Anna heard them too, it was coming from the living room. The window was open, cold air shifted through the room. The footsteps kept getting louder and louder and louder. "BOO!" They both shrieked, Anna's best friend came over, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!
"HOW...WHERE... WHY ARE YOU HERE CLARIS!"
 "Hows the new house?"
"Eerie."
"Let's go in the basement and watch a movie, go back to bed Savannah."
" I'm gonna go tell mom and dad that one of your friends is here with out permission."
"Fine!"
The next morning Anna woke and didn't see claris ,but she did see a trial of blood leading into the bathroom. She found Claris sitting on the edge of the bathtub looking at her blood spewing foot.
"A glass shard was in my foot when I woke up this morning."
"Omg, are you ok ?!"
"Yea."
"Well, yesterday I got a Ouija board and I was wondering if you wanted to try it?"
 "Um sure."
So they got the candles and the board out, Anna lit the candles.
"Hello, is there any spirits in my house?"
Yes the Ouija board wrote out. They both gasped and they asked who was in the house with them.
"Z.....O......Z......O? Who's that?"
"I don't know I'll look it up.............uh oh!"
As Claris was getting up to get her phone, she tripped over a bag and stepped on the ouija board. Her blood from her foot was smeared on the board and the candles blew out.
"Was that you or me."
"I don't know."
"Ok well let's just go to bed and forget this."
"Ok."
They both flew up the stair carefully not to wake up Anna's parents. They fell right asleep. The alarm clock read 5:36, dead silence was in the air. Savannah was tugging on Anna

"Go to bed Savannah, please school is tomorrow."
Savannah kept tugging.
"Savannah please!"
Still, Savannah wouldn't stop.
"SAVANNAH GO TO B....."
Anna stopped abruptly. Her "sister" was nearly unrecognizable.
Savannah was in the hands of the devil, Zozo.

(Not part of the story, but if you actually look up ZoZo he messes with people who ask for him during ouija sessions and not the movie.)

The Truth

He yelled and
  yelled

Until his voice was
           hoarse, his legs

Unsteady, his mind
  empty

And his eyes,wet
  and full

Of the Truth

Jack the Ripper: An Assassin's Creed Syndicate Story

From the diary of Jack Ripper

I had killed the two girls. That was the bait. Jacob would be here soon; I let one of them escape. She would go ask the police captain, then he would ask for him no doubt. Now I wait.

Jack put away his notebook and looked around for a reasonably high building with lots of protruding ledges to climb. He found it, an old apartment, and ran toward the battered and busted old area of real estate. Placing his foot waist high on a board close to the locked door, he used the momentum to send him up, his hands clasping a piece of staggered wood. He raised his other vacant arm in a flash of swift darkness to locate another handhold. Placing his gloved hand, he levered himself up, repeating this process until he was atop the apartment.

It has been over an hour now, and all I see is nothing.

How slow can the captain be? No surprise half of London does not know who I am.

Thirty minutes or so later I heard his loud footsteps on the cobblestone as the girl led him to the slaughtered. I couldn't quite make up what they were saying, but that mattered not. Soon I would have him.
He immediately knew it was me who used the point of the knife to rip the girls' throats. He began wandering down the alley closest to him, shouting my name. He was as blind as a bat.
I jumped, directly from the top of the apartments to the cold cobblestone of the London alleyway. It wasn't far for me, I had jumped worse. He ran, I presume to chase his shadow. Anyway, I couldn't just let him escape, so I ran the full length of the ally to find him.

Jacob escaped via carriage when I was just at the end of the alleyway. Although the plan had fallen through, there might be a new opportunity to follow the mouse back to his hole...

~

As Jack walked through the ajar door, He saw Jacob, scrambling around his apartment, gathering some papers.
"Going somewhere Jacob?" Jack said, startling him.
Jacob turned around frantically
"Jack" he said, his face white, "you're sick."
The air was stiff. Jack won't let his petty words catch him off guard. He took his knife out of he overcoat and charged foreword. He heard the unlatching of Jacob's Hidden Blade, an ancient Assassin weapon. Touché.
Jack jabbed, dodged, and slashed at Jacob's figure. He did the same back, all the while knocking over chairs and slamming into walls.
Eventually, Jack had him drained of energy. He saw a weakness he didn't even know he had. With a swift kick, Jack had Jacob down. Laying his knees on Jacob's chest, Jack started pounding repeatedly on his shoulders, he finally had him down to the floor.
"Don't you see the irony, brother?" Jack said
"Jack..." Jacob pleaded.
"Only you know who the Ripper is, but you can't tell a living soul because it will destroy you, and the Assassins."
His eyes darted away to Jack's right. Jacob smashed the remains of his broken chair against Jack's head, as he got up darted to grab a pistol handle protruding out of the bookshelves.
Jack yelled in frustration "no, no no NO!" And threw a luggage case at Jacob's back, knocking him down. Now was Jack's chance!
Pushing off of one leg, Jack jumped and landed on him, knife poised above Jack's head ready to strike.
"Jack", Jacob pleaded "we can fix you."
"Fix ME?" Jack yelled, almost hestericly. "I am the solution."
Jack thrusted the knife down.

Insomnia

Insomnia

Sunrise and I have become close friends
As have 2 am and 5,
The silence of the night transforms grimly into static
That cradles me in its arms
The darkness is no longer a stranger.
I understand why the stars sometimes hide behind clouds,
And why the shadows dance around the empty house
They begin to understand me
My incurable insomnia.
Formed from a simple worry
That soon manifested itself inside my body,
Consuming me,
Until night felt safer than day
I'm not afraid of the dark,
Perhaps that's part of the problem.

8th grade a time of turmoil with all of the drama good and bad we take off to high school we were the top dogs of campus no we are back down...
