That Girl

She had something, something no one else did. She wasn't popular, she didn't get recognized;that's exactly how she felt too. There was a time she tried, she tried to be one of them, but she quickly realized that's not who she was; or what she wanted to be. She hung out with the popular people, but she didn't trust them. They were everything but her friends. She laughed, and had fun; she wasn't really happy though. If she wasn't with "those girls" she didn't talk much. Even if she was around them she still didn't talk much. She was so beautiful, funny, and out going. I never really talked to her, maybe a couple of times. When we did talk she was always cheerful and fun to be around. Yesterday, she didn't come to school. Which is not like OMG, lets freak out. Until hr parents got a call saying she was absent. That's when it all started. Her parents had called everyone they could to see where she was, no one did. It makes you wonder, wonder where she is;what's really wrong with her. Even though she didn't talk to anyone much, or me, it made me want to talk to her. Just have one conversation. In your mind you think, a person so beautiful, a person so different, why so sad ? You'll never know, but you can look, look into her eyes and see the pain. She came to school a week later. The same, just a little more hurt.

This is amazing writing! I enjoyed how it can be related to. Personally I can relate. Sometimes people just feel on the outside, or they're broken and lost. Where did you get your inspiration?

I loved this piece of writing. I know some people that would totally relate to this story. What happened to the girl?

There is a repetition in this writing that I really love. One of them is: "she tried, she tried to be one of them". The repetition just makes it more powerful somehow.

Also, I'm glad she came back to school. I was worried that it would have a more tragic ending. I like your ending because it is simultaneously hopeful, and sad.

8th grade a time of turmoil with all of the drama good and bad we take off to high school we were the top dogs of campus no we are back down...
