Island of Gold part 1
It was a rough day on the ship.The waves were huge and the rain was fierce. After ten days of rain, the captain saw clear skies ahead. There were four people on the ship including the captain. Next he saw an island with some yellow shiny metal. The captain thought that it was a mirage. He dropped the anchor and deployed a rowboat.Then he rowed closer to the island. The captain and his crewmates started rowing towards the shiny island. Flying overhead, the captain saw was a red dragon. The captain started rowing faster. They got to the island and looked back and the dragon was burning the ship. How are we going to live on this island? There is a fire breathing dragon trying to kill us. Let's try to find food. We could us the wood from the rowboat to make fire. Let's camp out for the night.

Cool story! I think the caption should try to take the gold and run away from the dragon. What is the captions name?
Good job! That's a great start to a great story. I think the dragon should burn half of the ship while the crew have to survive on the Island of gold. Then one day they slay the dragon, but only the captain survives. What are your ideas on what will happen?
Love it! I love that the captain (and crew?) are stuck in a little rowboat instead of on their ship. I think they should have to make a decision about returning to their ship, or rowing toward the island. That would put them into a great internal conflict. Also, did ALL the crew go out in the rowboat? Who is still left manning the ship?
