Fall

Colorful leaves dance among the crisp breeze,
Sweaters and red noses fill the school yard,
Autumn has finally come
Fall, often forgotten in the minds of others

But how can that be?

The town becomes a painting of colorful trees and grey skies,
But most don't see it and pass it off as just another season,

Another month,
Another day,
Another minute,

Though it's one of the most spectacular seasons of all,
Who could not like the colorful leaves
Seemingly taken out of a watercolor painting,

How strange is it?

To think that some can not see the beauty in the little things

This is an amazing poem. I can totally relate with the water color. Also I loved the part when you said some people don't notice the beauty in the little things.

This poem is just great! I love how it shows how some people can't see beauty in nature. But obviously you can!

My friend has a Brazilian exchange student (she's 15 and goes to Manitou High School), and we went on a hike last October. She stopped at every tree and bush that had yellow/gold/orange/red leaves, and marveled at them. She had never seen trees where the leaves changed color before! It was so amazing to see it through HER eyes. It gave me a whole new appreciation for our fall colors.

8th grade a time of turmoil with all of the drama good and bad we take off to high school we were the top dogs of campus no we are back down...
