A Rocks Eye View

It was a nice day outside
People walking side by side.

But everyone had a phone in their hand
And no one stopped to enjoy the land.

No one ever liked to talk
All they ever did was walk.

With phones in their hands and headphones on their ears
Made all of us rocks fall into tears.

I like the truth in this poem. It's upsetting that things are actually like this.

I really like the sound of the poem you wrote. When I read this poem it reminds me of New York City. I thought this when i was read about the people walking side by side.

This is so sad. But it is so true that everybody has phone in the hands of headphones in their ears!

It's sad to see what society has become, though, in some ways it's a good thing. I liked how simple, but meaningful this was!

I like the title you put, it was like the opposite of a birds eye view! And it's true, people can't seem to put their phones down!
